About us

Lightwaves Ltd was established in 1990 by John Johnson based on his 20 years of previous experience as an independent exhibition lighting consultant and of running the design department for a major lighting manufacturer.

Tom Johnson grew up with the business and worked on his first exhibition in 1993, formally joining the company in 2000. Together they have worked on a wide range of projects both in the UK and abroad. They are backed up by a team of independent experts of varying backgrounds from fine arts to electrical engineering.
